Bear Bow -year?

Got a Bear Kodiak Magnum-45#28 52in.long  Green wood and glass w/ white accents. Number looks like KU-27470. Grayling Mich. US Pat. 2,842,113
Thinking about using this for a blind bow. Anyone know what year this bow was made? Any info on it?
