« on: July 17, 2012, 09:03:00 PM »
thought about putting Nockturnal nocks on a couple of my arrows this yr and was wondering if they would effect my arrow flight/spine?? on the website they are 20 grains, i believe.  FYI i shoot a robertson TD fatal styk 55@28 GT 5575 29" long with 250gr up front (simmons tree shark) . i thought i would get some input before i went out and bought some.  thanks alot, GBH

I have been useing for a couple years , the only differance I see is that lighted arrow hitting home.

Also is a great help in tracking when your tracker is color blind.

Standard nock is about 10 grains. Cant imagine 10 grains extra making much of a difference. Love nockturnals, btw

I bought one to try. I really didn't see any difference in arrow flight.

A dollar bill weighs 15 grains.  Do you think taping 2/3 of a dollar bill around your nock will change anything?  I do not.

I shoot them as well and can't see any changes.  I can tell you this -- I don't shoot well enough to see the difference 10 grains would make!   :bigsmyl:

It would make a difference if you were borderline on spine, but you should be fine Seth.

Couldn't see any difference in arrow flight on my arrows.
