Inspirational and really got my blood up about my upcoming move to Ft. Collins.  Pretty close to that WY border to extend my seasons...

I got the same thought looking at this that I got reading the Marv Clyncke article in TBM a few months back - "Man I hope I'm still hunting alone in the backcountry in my 70's."

Thanks Mike for posting all the pics.  Just awesome.

The thing about Jerry is that he does live in Wyoming but he kills things every where he goes not just on his home ground.

That guy has ''  kilt'' some great animals, he is the new Mule deer king for sure.

Jerry just sent me this picture by his phone. Not a real good pic but he will be sending more. He said that it has been slow and that he passed on a 70'' buck, holding out for a bigger one. I will post more as he sends them.
He took the doe with a new sinew backed bow that I made and sent him last week.

Here is one of the buck he got today with the same bow. Jerry said that he would send me some better pictures later, he is busy getting the meat put up as you can expect. More to come!

He found the little gray arrowhead when he was packing out his buck. Things like that to me are as good as it gets, like a note from the past that lets you know that your not the first one to kill an antelope with a bow and arrow on these plains.

Congratulations Jerry! I love that he's not dressed in the lastest camo and only jeans and a shirt. Old school if you will.
