How do you think the vintage recures (60's 70's ) perform against the moderm custom bows???

They work as good as any new bow if they are well cared for and in good shape! I have a 67' Bear Kodiak Hunter 43# @ 28 that shoots very well! Also a 63' Grizzly 45# @ 28 that is also a real good shooter. My new or more modern bows are great but the old ones still get it done!

Many variables to consider but I have bows built from ~60 years ago to the present. If you compare many of the top performers of yesteryear to current bows using similar b50 string material, they would be as good as or better than many of so called "modern" bows.

They are great bows depending on the one you are talking about , as with modern bows some are just no good. It is all the guy pulling the string that makes the magic happen..........
