Well now I know....lol! Doesn't the arrow drag or make noise on the draw? At the shot, I can understand with the archers paradox it being alright!

Got a chance to shoot this beauty earlier today. Very impressed with the performance of the bow. Dead in your hand and quiet for sure. At 68" long it pulls like a dream. The grip is a little different than the standard straight grip used by Craig at HH Archery. With that said Danny also has a Hill "Tembo" with a grip very similar to what is on this Miller. Not quite the same but very close. As for "Brianlocal3" above, you better get in line for that 300 y/o yew. I shot that one today too. "Sweet" for sure. Danny doesn't have any junk. Congrats to my bud on his new bow. It was a long wait but worth it for sure.  :archer2:

I'm hoping by buying all Danny's bows I can shoot half as good as him. Trying to get some of his mojo

Danny congratulations on an exceptional work of art. David is a true master bow builder and a real gentlemam. I own three of his longbows and have another in the works soon. My last was a Hawk cv/cc but no glass and it shoots as good as it looks, you will really like your bow. Ron.

Methinks that we need pics of it in action ...

Danny ... Brother I looked at the pics again and it sure does look just sweet ... so much so that last night I broke out my ol' Tom and flung a few ...

Dave sure does build a sweet bow !

I've had a couple of sessions with the Expedition. Still getting to know the bow and its likes and dislikes. Here are a few:

Likes: Douglas fir arrows; a positive grip; good follow through; both Dacron and FF type strings (although a lighter arrow spine is preferred with the Dacron string) weighted 2114 aluminum arrows.

Dislikes: ring finger string torque (my bad), otherwise tolerant of a bad release; Danny's friends being critical of its individuality.    :p

Hey Danny, is that a string follow bow?  Thanks.

Mike -
The Expedition is not a string follow bow. It does have a slight back-set to it.

Thanks Danny.  I was just curious.  I have an Expedition that I bought second hand and it's a backset as well.  Really wish mine was a string follow, but beggars can't choose as they say.  Either way David's work is impeccable and it whips an arrow downrange.  Hope you're enjoying yours.  Great looking piece you have there.
