tuning question
« on: August 02, 2012, 07:21:00 PM »
I always struggle with this...
I just pickerel up a 55# @ 28" Martin vision longboat. I draw a little over 30". I shoot gt traditional 5575. They are currently full length. What weight tips would be recommended as a starting point for tuning?

Thanks,
jon

Jon,

the key to making Stu's work is the strike plate thickness. most of the time I need a little stiffer arrow than his numbers say.

Good luck
