Broadheads

I received many suggestions on broadheads here..so I wish to narrow down what I am looking for. I am shooting a Martin Savannah @45lb I want a 125gr screw in 2 blade sharp enough out of the box to hunt whitetails with. Was thinking of the Magnus Stinger & The Simmons Landshark I believe its called..anyone see a problem with either of those?

I think both of those would work fine for you. But as far as them being sharp out of the box that depends on what you are comfortable shooting at a game animal. I personally have never had any broadhead that is sharp enough out of the box to hunt with.

Muzzy phantoms are sharp enough out of the box.
Now then, get your weapons, your quiver and your bow and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me.- Genesis 27:3

They'll work fine.  However, regardless of how sharp they are out of the box, they'll dull in your quiver over time, regardless of quiver type.  Need to learn how to sharpen them so you can touch them up when needed.

Magnus Stingers are a well built and good flying broadhead.  But the Stingers for me have been hit or miss as far as sharpness. I bought some of the 2-blade Buzzcuts and they wouldn't shave hair on my arm.  The last set I bought were the regular Stingers and they were hair poppin' sharp.   :dunno:

I'd get the 4 blade stingers and a hand held Accusharp sharpener. A couple light strokes on each side and watch out, razor sharp for the sharpening challenged.    :clapper:
