Mike, I wish you and the other guys a safe trip. Just talked to Tom at the Baltimore shoot today and he is ready to go.  Just waiting on the 'little guy' from Seattle to fly in.  Good luck.

I am sure gonna miss ya'll this year.  But this is why I'm missing Bear Quest...my quest for Redfish on the Fly  :)   Here's the start of my six weeks Southern Journey chasing these spottail bass in the flats.

Yesterday 3 Reds...spot & stalk in 2-3 feet off water  :)   Not exactly black bear but my eyes are peeled for black spots tailing in shallow water...tippit

Same here Ed. Is Fairfield Bay near Hardy? Not sure but I think I've been there before. I'm really looking forward to this hunt and meeting everybody. Still can't believe we're down to less than (3) weeks.
Yellow Dog, still got to pick up a Thermacell, I've heard that's a necessity.

Just a tip I bring two thermacells on the stand.Often times you will be on a stand long enough to burn one pad up so I light one then about about an hour or one and half hours light the other. This way you will not have to change pads at the most likely times the bears may come in just before dark.Good luck and have fun.Kip

The thread from last years hunt if some of you guys are still thinking about joining in on this hunt this year. Looks like there's a few more slots open. The most fun you'll ever have with a bow in your hand

Tom here's your lefty demo bow. Bocote, zebra, black phenolic riser with actionboo/carbon limbs. Didn't get time to ship it yesterday before I left town so ill probably just carry it with me next week. Any other leftys in camp are welcome to give it a try. 51#@28".
