Old Woolrich??

Got a question maybe some of the woolrich guys might be able to answer. I just got an old woolrich 503 coat that other than the hanging loop and content tag missing is in mint condition for $35 including tax. I'm trying to somewhat date this coat and am having trouble finding info on the net. The logo is the black sheep with horns with the head facing you. From what I can find it should be a late 40's to early 50's date. They also had a black logo around the same time that had the same sheep but without horns that I believe was an early 40's design. If anyone has a good guess on time period I'd appreciate it.

I have a 523 also in mint condition,it has the same logo but I have no idea of the vintage.
I'll be watching to see if anyone knows the age,it's a great coat but it doesn't get cold enough here anymore to wear it,LOL.
