New bow for a sorta new shooter
« on: August 16, 2012, 07:30:00 PM »
Hi new to the forums.  I have been actively shooting for 6 months.  Made some bows in the past but they didn't shoot to well. I make my own arrows.

I have been using a Samick Sage 40# and think I am ready to upgrade.  One of the guys at the club turned me on to this site so I figured I would post here.

Question is I am looking for a new bow.  I mean the Samick is a nice bow for the money but I think I am ready to upgrade.  I mean I have been looking and I don't know what exactly to get.  I am in the 600 price range.  Preferably a take down recurve so I can start at 40# and upgrade.  I know that Black Widow and Fedora are pretty reputable but has anyone shot the copperhead bows?

Thanks for your time.

Not familiar with Copperhead, but if you peruse the sponser's list, you'll find enough quality bows to make your head spin.
We are all here because we are not all there.

If your not opposed to a used bow I would say get yourself a pronghorn they are great bows. Love mine
Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.

Well I took your advise and went with legends bows.  I will post a review in the correct forum.
