As I've mentioned a bunch I'm just getting back into traditional archery and I'm finding things that blow me away.  The last time I tried anything really "new" in broadheads were the old Hoyt Bow Bullets back in the late 80's.  I killed a couple deer with them but went back to the Bear S/S Razorheads.  Now I've seen these Grizzly Stik Broadheads and the price about caused me to choke.  I like the design of the Silver Flame but are they really worth 30.00 a piece?  I'd have a hard time with it just because in my earlier years I lost more than a couple arrows and broadheads.

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.- John Wayne

I'm with you. They may be an excellent broadhead, but unless I win the lottery, I'll never know. There are way too many other proven and reliable broadheads out there to justify the cost. Dead is dead, and I'm sure the game that is taken could care less if you paid $2 or $200 for the broadhead that kills it. To each his own, but animals have been consistently taken with sharp rocks for thousands of years.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.
