Well I got out for bit but then got rained out! Boy, 75 and humid at 5:15 am, never hunted in a t shirt before, lol. Still nice to be in the woods at day break. I also sent an arrow to the heavens for my friend Chad Holm, taken to soon, my he RIP !! I carried a bow he made for himself !!

ron, did you see anything? I saw a very nice buck at exactly the spot I wanted him, but he wouldn't turn the right way so I didn't shoot. It started to sprinkle on me, and I got back to the truck just as the rain came. That is good, because this boy does not like to get rained on. You are right, it is good to be back out in the woods. Good luck!

It has cooled off a bit so I went hunting this morning!! 50 degrees and dry, sat for 3 hours, acorns are dropping but no action. A couple of squirrels and a owl was all I saw today. We will keep at it......

I Hunt ND and Mn both. But it is about 1.5 hour either way.
I could hunt within 30 minutes, but no comparison in the quality of hunting.
I got out looking around after work tonight myself. It was good to be in the woods again.
Good luck Ron!
