What size Al arrow is needed to foot these carbons?
« on: August 26, 2012, 09:23:00 PM »
I just got a couple cheap carbons from Wal-Mart to make stumping arrows out of and I want to foot them with some Al shafting.

Carbon Express Terminator 4560's have 0.296" outside diameter with 0.296" insert.

Allen Carbon Exacta 4565's have a 0.292" outside diameter with 0.296" insert.

What size aluminum shafting would fit these arrows the best to foot them prior to trying them out on some stumps?

Thanks.  I'll go pick up an arrow or maybe some cutoffs from the local shop tomorrow.
