Helical POI Question
«

I have been currently shooting right helical feather fletched arrows through my bows and I just picked up a dozen from a guy that are fletched left helical. I have to have them cut to length and install the inserts still before I can shoot them. The arrows are Gold Tip 5575, they will all end up being the same length, have the same inserts weight and field tip/broadhead weight. Will the POI be the same using some that are right helical and some left?

Should be exactly the same as long as the only difference is the helical.

'Spect so----I have noticed no difference. Course some would say my shooting is so inconsistent that my experience may mean nothing. Some right wing arrows will scratch my bow hand when I shoot them off a bow with little shelf.

If there is a change in POI then it is not from the fletching.

Well there is actually one difference I just thought about. The right helical arrows have 4" feathers and the left helical arrows have 5" feathers.

If they are tuned well to you and the bow then they should work just fine.
