New MCAAP Bucks

For everyone who drew McAlester like me and is chomping at the bit to get in there, they have recently posted a few new velvet bucks from this summer in the 10 Most Wanted at the bottom of the home  page.  

Did anyone go for the velvet tour at the beginning of August?

There are some real giants there, Sasquatch is a freak of nature.  I'll have to hope they all make it through this year since I didn't draw out.

I don't know why they took the buck fight off the McAlester hunt website. It was unbelievable video.

My best friend works at the plant and I've been on some drive arounds with him and yes there are some monsters on there. I get to hunt there as a guest from time to time.

Going in November. I've yet to see even a 115 class buck there(in the hunt areas). Hope that will change this year.

1st time for me, Jim.  I think I will be there the same weekend as you (Nov 8th), but I will be at deer creek.  I almost don't want to look at the pics and get my hopes up to high.

I will be in deer creek same weekend pdk25. Hopefully it we will have some luck. I have been down there plenty of times but I have yet to get a really nice one. Hopefully this will be the year.

For you guys that have been there before, do you mainly hunt the big wheat fields they put in or stick to the timber? I drew Boggy Nov 9-11.
