Lone wolf climber mesh seat.
« on: August 30, 2012, 12:05:00 PM »
Is someone making a mesh type seat for the Lone wolf climbers? I see there is one for the LW sit and climb. Does it fit the alpha seat?

I love my Lone wolf but it's tough for sits more than a few hrs.
When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

LW makes a replacement seat (comfort seat) but it is pricey. Gorilla makes a seat for about $18 which I bought. Threads say it should be good. Have not sat in mine yet. Not mesh though.

Sorry, just read that it will not fit the new Wide Model Sit and Climb

I'm going to have to try this out.  I also love my Lone Wolf,  but the seat can defintely be a challenge if you are out for more than a few hours.  Ought to cut some weight off as well.

I bought one from hazmore for my LW wide sit n climb.  Works great and is much more comfortable than the original seat.

I bought an Ole Man treestand replacement mesh seat and put it on my sit-n-climb.  Works great.  Just order a nylon fish nest somewhere online, cut to size, string the ends together with para cord or zip-ties.  Comfort...to kill.

You can't use a mesh seat on the Alpha hand-climber.  The seat portion is a rigid member supporting the belt arms - without the rigid member, it is spagetti.

So, with the hand-climber, I use an air-pillow seat to extend time on stand.

I've got a real old LW Hand Climber and James..cut me a piece of net for it about 6yrs ago. Problem is the part between the cables is too narrow for my butt to fit down between..and I'm only 170lbs or so..medium build. So, I use a Gorilla seat for it and a net seat for a Summit Broadhead..open front.
