who owns that maddog?
« on: September 01, 2012, 12:06:00 PM »
I remember seeing pics of a Maddog on this site before, but can't remember how I found them. Somebody has a Maddog that is all Ash or Myrtle or something very light colored like these. It had black or brown glass.

I would love to see these pics again, as well as get confirmation of the wood used. There were about 5 pics, all taken from a deck and a backyard.

Anybody help me out?

I'm not sure about the exact bow but Prairie Drifter has several and some real lookers too.

The bow I am talking about is very natural looking, nearly unfinished. Not one of prairie drifters.

It might be the one he made for me. He posted it as "Plain and simple" as I recall...
66" tip to tip,45#@28". Walnut riser with ash limbs and flat finished brown glass. Shoots smooth and looks good.
Can't post a pic at the moment but will try later.

Like that bow, but what I am looking for was nearly blonde looking.
