I have to agree with Mr. Lamb.....

If you switch from a 68" bow to a 62" bow you are only loosing 3" on each end.....

Realisticly 3" is not enough to create a problem.

Jake is a Young Man.....He has many years to learn to manuver through heavy cover with his longbow. With time and practice,Jake and his longbow will learn to work together.....As A Hunter!!!!!     :archer:

Although I am addicted to short bows...Charlie is right. Don't worry about a few inches. Hunt from a stool or a tree, pay attention to limb clearance. I had a 66" Marriah Chinook for a long time, I never felt handicapped.

I heard that the guy on the left was a little funny in the head... looks aren't everything     :bigsmyl:   LOL

I also hunted for several years with a 68" longbow and never felt handicapped. Those long bows can be forgiving and a real pleasure to shoot.

Jake, you're a deadly shot with the bow you use now...I'd keep with it.

Make yourself a ground blind and practice from it.

Hope to shoot with ya soon...
