Looking for Feather rest advice
« on: September 07, 2012, 10:31:00 PM »
I want to confirm the direction of mounting a feather rest, i'm guessing the feathers should lay down in the direction the arrow is being launched ? I'm having a hard time putting this into the correct wording.

I have been googling for the last 2 hours & searching this forum & cannot find much info on them except for the fact that I should of bought it from Trap verses 3 rivers.  I plan on getting some from Trap if I like this one & I'm thinking I will.

Thanks,

Thanks Guys !

It's what I thought, I just wanted to be sure before I stuck it on there.

Is this link Trap ?
  http://home.comcast.net/~debrayork/site/?/page/FEATHER_REST__%2A%2A%2A%2A_/

Or should I just PM him thru this forum ?

Does Trap make them for 3Rivers now ? When I ordered they said the number I gave them is discontinued & they no longer sell the $4 ones, but I could get a "new" $9 one, so I did.

This one seems pretty decent, looks like natural feather verses the colored feather ones I saw in 3Rivers master catalog. It also has a leather base.

Thanks again,
