Look in the sponsor list, its a drop down menu, in the middle of all the advertisements at the top of the page.

Good luck

Gateway and Trueflight Feathers are a couple of the top manufactures (there are others), but finding a supplier with the size, cut, and color from the correct wing feather you want is another thing.

Have always played with different lengths, cuts and designs, but can’t find a distributor who carries Trueflight’s new 2”, or their 2-1/4”, 2-1/2” or 3” in left wing. I can’t find the cut in the correct wing, let alone the color.

So basically, ya have to take what you can get.

Most of the suppliers carry a good selection. But not always exactly what you are looking for. So I use a Little Chopper to cut them and buy full length feathers. So no matter who I get feathers from I can make them the same size/shape. Just happens I like Gateway feathers. Most suppliers carry Trueflight cut to size/shape. Another reason is for repairs. The same size/shape is not the same from one supplier to the next. Because of the    tool they use to make the cut is not the same.

rustyspike - I own 5 "Little Choppers", but none are now being manufactured with under 3" cuts.

I know 3Rivers will custom craft a Little Chopper but don't want to exhaust moneys on 3 more choppers just too experiment when all I need is a handful of left wings of each regardless of the color but no one carries them.

Once I decided I liked one, then order a custom chopper.

If you can’t buy direct from Trueflight, (I went through their entire distribution list) don’t understand why Trueflight even advertise these cuts if nobody sells them… That’s teasing…8^)

BTW, speaking of the choppers, does anyone know if the Fred Bear style shield cut is or will be made if requested? ...A while back there was talk of it but Bear Archery put the kabash on that from production...

Zbone,

Just looked at 3rivers site and they have Little Choppers in most shapes in 5 and 5.5. Any way. I have been buying full length from Gateway in 50 packs. Saves me some $$. And I don't end up with a lot of odd feathers. I have a small tool box full. Still working on the last 2 packs I bought some time ago.

Oh yea. I had to wait 3 or 4 weeks for Gateway to get me the Camo color I wanted. They ran out and where waiting for a new shipment. Gateway was pretty good about it and let me know there would be a delay.
