Got a little string material?
«

I've got a Boy Scout in the house trying to finish up his last couple merit badges to get his Eagle rank. One of the badges is archery and to my surprise, making a string is one of the requirements. Does anyone have a small amount of string material (enough for one string) sitting around I could purchase? I am NOT going to get into the string making business, I'll leave that to you professionals.

You will have better luck if you post in the classifieds.
Im sure someone can help you out. I have a 1967 Boy scout archery book and it is great. They cover string making ,tuning and set up.. Great little book.

I can send you some in a couple of colors if you would like, it's either 8125 or D97.

I may have a pound or fifty laying around......
I'm late to the game, but if you want send me an address and color preferances. If it will help, I'll throw in a video you can share with the other scouts.

Big shout out to Chad at Champion Custom Bowstrings. Chad hooked me up with the string material I needed to in scout colors and added a video on making strings that will be a great reference for the entire scout troop. Thanks again Chad!
