I was hoping someone could help me with understanding arrow weight, and broadhead weight. Ive always used 125gr field tips. Does that matter??

Nate... for hunting you'll do well with total arrow weight of 500 to 600 grains. The weight of the head is a bit flexible. The heavier the head you choose the stiffer the spine of the shaft needs to be to keep it in proper tune. The inverse applies as well.
It's all about properly tuning your equipment.
