Well said Cory... I do shoot a lot and often during a hunting trip and at home... Just before work is the time for that "one-shot-deal"... Guess it's a confidence builder, as you said... Helps me get through the work day     with a positive thing to think about.

The distance will vary each day. Remember it's one shot with a broadhead... Rest of the time, many shots with Judos or Hex Heads.

I was going to ask about the "First Shot Yardage" you were shooting? I am not comfortable enough to shoot First Shot at a Critter over 15 Yards yet.    
 I figure with experience and Time, I might stretch that out a bit, but Ethical Shot tells me the closer, the better! No chance in Wounding and Loss that way.
     Funny, was talking to a Neighbor as he was showing me his Latest Bear Wheelie Bow, Very Short and Impressive looking with all the Gizmos hanging off of it. "Robo-Bow" is what it looked like, anyway, he was telling me about killing deer first shot at 50 yards.... Blah, Blah, Blah, and he asked me how far I could take a "Deer" with my "Stick & String".
   I told him "No farther than I could see the critters eyelashes"  :cool:   which just had the guy practically rolling on the ground.
    To each their own I say, but he didnt impress me one bit, if that was his Intent.

When it comes to guys like that, I think of a tee-shirt that read: "If I Need To Explain, You Wouldn't Understand."

I just love getting close to game... Many times it's too close and a shot dosen't present it self... So?    Close is the name of our game! Yea, that close.
