Rubber boot prep?
« on: September 19, 2012, 06:26:00 AM »
Got my first pair of rubber hunting boots yesterday.  They smell a bit like a tire shop!

What do you guys do with your rubber boots before wearing them out in the field?
Shooting a vintage Bear Grizzly makes me smile.

I don't do anything.  My rubber boots are 5 years old and still smell like a tire shop.  Doesn't seem to affect anything....
I'm getting more dangerous all the time...

I wear mine to the barn, the cows sure know how to get rid of that "new boot" smell
