Does fast flight string make you more accurate ?

I know this question might sound a little goofy but let me explain. I picked up a used 2002 bear supermag which had B50 string on it, the bow came with fast flight but it is extremely quiet & these newer supermag bows have a track record of breakage so I figured the B50 string would help keep it around for a bit longer.
I noticed I'm really having a hard time at 20 yards as I usually hit low, but I am right on at 10-12 yards. Prior I had been shooting a fast little ambush & I was on at 10 thru 20 yards.
With the bear it seems unnatural for me to have to subconsciously adjust for what seems to me to be excessive arrow drop at 20 yards. If I put a fast flight string on this bow would that eliminate the excessive arrow drop at 20 yards (due to more FPS) and help my instinctive shooting by not having to mentally adjust that much difference in arrow drop between 10 to 20 yards ?
Or don't it work that way ? Maybe fast flight string is not that much difference & I just need to shot more to get my mental instincts used to this bow ?
Also is my thinking of using B50 string verses fast flight string to prevent bow breakage correct ?
Thanks,
Dan

Dan, It's the Indian, not the bow! FF strings may project the arrow a little faster than B-50 BUT it boils down to the shooter, not the equipment.

Wow, it looks like my theory was way out in left field. I just figured if the FPS was faster, that equates to less arrow drop, which means the mind has less thinking / calculating when instinctive shooting.
So much for that thought, thanks for the replies everyone,

shooter and how well the shooter is tuned and the bow is tuned....they go hand in hand.

It has been my experience that while a fast flight string does boost arrow speed, it would not be enough to cause a trajectory distance.

A properly built FF string can help you be more consistent, because it has less stretch/creep--especially in warmer temps.
That being said, I agree with the rest--accuracy is in the shooter, not the equipment.

I use a FF type string on all my bows except for a couple of old vintage recurves. For me the bow feels better and more solid, not springy like with dacron.I think it is a more consistent string, but don't think it makes you more accurate.Shooting form and well tuned bow and arrows will help you be more accurate.

Those little bows are an absolute bitch to shoot well. Very touchy. I agree with everyone that the slight increase in speed with FF would not make a noticable difference in trajectory. However, an '02 Supermag should be fine for FF and if nothing else should give a better "feel" to the shot as well as a little more fps. Do you have the same nock height set on both bows?

I'm opposite. Can't shoot a FF string for poop!
Take the same bow, and put a nice soft "stretchy" B50 string on it, and i'm grouping them much much better.
May be in my head, but thats just me!
