old style Kwikee 2 pc. quivers?

Hello,
New to traditional in the last year and looking this year to add a bow mounted quiver. I wondered about the old 4 arrow clamp on Kwikee's and was surprised to see they are still being made and are definitely priced right. Are they noisy? I am looking for something to put on my Bear Polar recurve that will serve the purpose. Thanks for any insights.

The protective cover that goes over your broadheads rattles if not strapped down. I just leave the cover off. Just keep in mind this leaves all of your broadheads exposed. The better option may be to make a new hood for it. The rest of the quiver works great.

The quiver works fine.....but....... DO NOT USE IT WITH OUT A HOOD!!!!!!
Those trips to the emergency room are a real pain...........

I took the one I have and made my own hood with a block of foam covered with leather. I also used a solid fiberglass rod (like for marking driveways, ect), using the underside arrow clips to connect the two ends. I didn't make a solid connect to the rod so I can slide the clamps in and out to fit different bows.

It is the only quiver a few of my family members ever used. They work fine but use the hood.
