How would you attach/adjust the webbing? Rope should wrap around the tree about one foot above the seat.

try makeing your webbing long enough to go around the tree twice or use a small bow hook to keep the webbing in place
good luck

When use my Torges seats and the rope wants to slip, I tie a piece of parachute cord around the tree with a loop on the back of the tree and make it super tight with a trucker's hitch,  then run the seat rope through the loop. I find that Torges seats will always make a little noise until they settle. Mine are not very elaborate, just an old or odd chunk of 1/2" plywood, with two small metal square corner braces to bite the tree. I get them at the hardware store for a couple of bucks for four. When I leave mine on public land they always get stolen in a short time. Not a big investment lost, but the Aholes kick down my natural blinds that I build as well.

If your webbing is nylon it may be too stretchy.  I like 3/8" polypropylene rope.  On rough barked trees one wrap is fine but on smooth bark like Aspen it is better with a double wrap.

I've been thinking about making one for awhile but never liked the idea of all the knots...played with straps and rope locks but whenni saw your 2 hole method I made one...that locked it up tight, love it. Thanks

The seat is still holding up well.
