Now if they would do the 671/2 - 69 Super Kodiak, then we'd be set.

Ranks right up there with Red.  Colors that don't belong on a bow.
Black Widow will be glad to hear that Red is no good.........    :biglaugh:      :biglaugh:   Who knew!!!             I'm not a Purple Heart fan either but it kind'a belongs on that old girl!! [/b]
I know I know...I'm just not a fan of red...but I LOVE the Redwings...go figure, and I have a redish tinted beard.

However...Give me Black, Olive, Copper, Burnt Red, moss green, Yellow, brown, sienna, etc...Those are good laminate colors.  Heck I don't even care for white.

However, I love the looks of that 59 Kodiak as it's very similar to my St Joe River Recurve...or that should be the other way around.  I'm just a fan of 50's style recurves I guess.

Back on the color subject...I'd love to see Bear come out with a Green Stripe Grey Dymondwood riser.  Again...can't stand that red.

Hope they bring back a 64" model of that bow...I have an original in that length but I'm reluctant to hunt with it

I like seeing Bear Archery having what is in my opinion good offerings in the "traditional" and compound market.  I hope that they remain healthy and prosper....like Hoyt.  Afterall, hasn't Bear Archery kind of been a "tradition" for some time  :)
Have a nice day!

I ordered one yesterday. My dealer claims Bear is going to reintroduce a classic every year. I sure hope he's wrong.

I've seen purple heart in a number of bows. Turned my head for the wrong reason. Just doesn't seem to belong. However, the new bow looks good. I had a Crystalite in that model. Now that would be a bow to bring back...just the way it was with better glass.

I really think Bear Archery is doing some cool stuff. I picked up a 30# 2012 Kodiak Grayling Green and it is a very good shooter. My wife loves it!!

why would't they maple instead of Purple Heart?  ill probably buy one IF they did better on the "59" than the "65" reproduction.
