Enjoyed your taking us along. Some great footage and enjoyed the spike acting like a kid in a puddle. Thanks.

Thanks Guys......

Mike...... I just drew another bonus point this year and hit the woods with my camcorder while I helped my brother who had a Bull tag.
The rut was a little slow kicking off where we were at. If you watch the video close you can see most of the action is pre rut but on the cusp of getting hot.Just West of us a friend had nonstop heavy rut action during the same time frame. While I had a whole 7 days to enjoy the show Jim had to drop down into the valley to work between weekends and wound up eating his tag.

I came away with a ton of video and will be editing that into footage I have already collected for a bigger project I am working on. I will be sharing more down the road...... Man I love September!!     :)     Terry

Great video...even though I believe we all enjoy footage of large bulls or bucks...I got a kick watching that young bull learn the ropes in the wallow.  Good Stuff and Thanks!

Terry,

I thought something was up when you weren't moving on either the cows or the bulls.  LOL

Filming that spike was a kick. He fed in front of me for a half hour or so looking at the wallow every now and then. Every time he would look that way I'd think "go for it". He finally did.

Mike if I had a tag you would have heard me hooting and hollering last April when the draw results came out....   :D  Terry

A good watch Terry, Thanks!!!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
