im looking at a texas recurve comanche 70#@27" just wondering if any has a texas recurve or has dealt with them if so how is the performance with the static limb design

They are a really neat looking bow. I had one that was 59# @ 28", but traded it to my dad a year ago. Personally, I thought it stacked quite a bit and I didn't like shooting it as much as my longer bows, but that might have been just me. That 70# might stack quite a bit. Hopefully someone else here will have more input.

They are great little bows. The eighth. Dwarf. Used to hunt with one. I have a 62 at 28 rt hand commanche.ive never cronyed one.it. zipped an arrow thru a 250 lb hog almost end to end flight shooting same. Arrow on tthe beach calm wind 235yrds.someone should buy the forms and start it. Up.I think Curtis Byrd loved making the commanche at least that ishowhe impressed me after I talked to him on the phone.filet mignon performance and looks.

Bought one when they first came out (52"55#@29")Sweet looking,a great shooter,Quiet and could really zip an arrow

70@27<<< is that 8th dwarfs bow because I know he shot those bows almost exclusively until he went to selfbows.. anyway really cool looking recurves and i'd love to find one around 50#,, not the fastest and I did hear they can stack if your expecting a longer draw even by a 1/2 inch sometimes but they where short bows too..
always made with texas mesquite I think and just a cool bow you don't see around anymore,, at 70lbs you won't have to worry about anything..
