Shot one thru a doe on Oct. 1. The fletched end of the arrow remained in the deer and the broadhead was buried in a root. The arrow was in 4 pieces but the Nockturnal nock glowed bright orange. I did break the first one i put in an Axis shaft as the fit was tight and tried to force it with the Axis nock installer which didn't fit the nock. I have since learned to use an emory board to get a better fit. Nockturnal said they would replace the broken nock. I found that with a 10 strand 8125 string and .019 serving the nocks are a perfect fit but are a tad tighter than the regular X nocks. Another detail...in daylight the green ones don't show up too well but are great in dim light. Orange, red, or pink seem best in daylight conditions.
