A few more kids flinging arrows
« on: September 30, 2012, 11:47:00 PM »
We have a few extra kids at our house for an unknown length of time so I figured we better get em shooting in case they stick around a while. Good kids and we had a fun day. Just about had to drag the boy away still flinging arrows. Think we will try to make some arrows and such for winter projects if I can get my act together. Might have to try some pink ones for little princess. They did good. My son helped some but ended up chasing lizards. Can't blame him. My wife even flung a few arrows and was looking pretty good for her second time out.

Two newbies and the "old pro" at 7

"the twins"  2 months apart in age.

This is the best looking shot of the day. Most were short draw but he was hitting foam so we just let em fly.

Oh yeah, got a few neighbor kids who want to go up too. We'll see if teenage archers take "advice" any better than 7 year olds. Looks like the hunger games, Brave and whatever else is taking hold.

Looks like fun. The kid in the last picture has better form than most adults! haha Just needs to get his elbow up a bit and he's there.
Good job!
