The picture answered one of my questions----yes it is a two way zipper. My other question was--are any of the Asbell wool products lined ? When wool comes near me I start to itch even before it touches me.lol.

Yep, it is a pretty high quality 2 way zipper, and nosir, none of the Asbell wool garments are lined. Good questions!

wow i feel like an idiot!  the whole reason i hadnt ordered a couple pullovers before was that i dont like things with hoods. but, looking at the asbell website a bit ago, i finally figured out that the 2 patterns i like best are available without hoods!  i feel like a cad, but i did order so i guess in the long run im getting what i want!
is it September yet??

These are best hoods out there. Very useful and will cover any kind of hat. You may be surprised.
