I recently aquired a 60" Snowshoe Hybred Longbow.  Wondering if anybody has any experience with one.

I have 2, both 52", one is 55@28 and the other is 57@27.  Both are Bear Paw Snowshoe models.  I asked the same question you've asked and was told the bowyer was from Illinois or Indiana, but I don't know that as fact.  Mine are both nice shooting bows, I don't worry about drawing more than 28", they really stack.  I shot my only bow killed turkey with the 57 #er.  The 55 #er was painted flat black when I bought, the seller had the same idea I did, a pop up turkey bow.

Only have photos of th 57 #er.

Got this from another site:

"Snowshoes were built by Terry Obal in Wolverine Michigan and prior to that he was somewhere in Montana"

Thanks, mine is the Wilderness Spirit.  I know Jay's Sporting goods in Gaylord, MI used to sell them.  It's only 15 miles from Wolverine.  They are nice bow's.  Mine stacks pretty hard at 29-30 inches.  It is a bow that tought me to perfect my form as it is touchy. Light and shoots where I point it though.

I have a 58" Yukon  59 @ 28.  I bought it used,  I saw it and just had to have it.  It has antler overlays on the tips and riser.

Very fast bow and pretty smooth even with a 29" draw.
