I had a friend killed in a fall from a tree stand several years ago.  If you are going to get in a tree stand, you need one, and you need one that will let you climb and desend with it on.

I have wore mine 100% of the time in a tree...  although since I am new that is a total of three times in a tree but I am sold!!!
