Congratulations, You done good!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

THAT was a great story with a great ending. DON'T ever let anybody tell you that any animal you take with traditional tackle is not a trophy.

As the weekend approaches, I am anxious to get back in the woods to start hunting a buck. Now that my feet have gotten soaking wet, I hope t be able to keep my cool if I happen to get a shot on a nice deer. I'm thinking it may be a good idea to let the two hot spots we  have cool off before going back to hunt them and maybe start checking out some newly scouted areas. I may be experiencing some form or concentration issues though. Wednesday evening while shooting broadheads, my groups seemed to be all over the place. Gonna have to get that under control tonight.

Does this buzz ever go away? Man, I hope not! Nothing like achieving a difficult goal for boosting confidence! I've got a great outlook for tomorrow morning, but know all too well not to let my expectactions get the best of me. Just being back in the woods, I am sure, will bring satisfaction to my soul.
