FIRST TRAD TURKEY
«

Sitting on the stand this evening enjoying Gods great creation. Saw two does and a spike twice but they never came in close enough. An hour or so later I saw 10 turkeys coming down the ridge to the left of my stand. They scratched around for a few minutes and went back up the hill. Then 10 minutes later they came back. They eased their way to my stand on the left side. I drawed and shot and just grazed one. Believe it or not they didn't spoke. Four more came in the same way. I found a spot and drilled that one. The Black Widow and Tusker done a number on it. It went 30yds and piled up. I was so pumped. I've always wanted to kill a turkey with a recurve and it finally happened. Its one of the best trophies I've ever killed and I couldn't be happier.
