I used an Accusharp and then a crock stick. Pretty dang sharp after that. And easy.

Round chain file and hold the broadhead with my finger under one edge.  Head is on my thigh with a piece of leather underneath it.  Don't try to force the file.  Let it groove in with light pressure.  10 strokes, flip it and my thumb goes under the opposite side.  Strop it on a convex surface with leather on top it.

herndondt gave me about a 30 second demo on his practice head using the Steelmaster. In that short a time he had it, as he says, scary sharp.

Steelmaster is it. I see Simmons heads and and a Steelmaster in my future.

Keep trying, whatever it takes. I round file will do it.  Steel master gets em crazy sharp, as does the wheel.

Just stick with it, using these heads is worth it.
