special Elk hunting Quiver

I guess time is all i have at the moment so i dug through all my scraps of materials and whipped this up the other night. The elk skin is from a tradganger I traded something for. Inside it has two layers of wool felt and all glued together and then sewn/Laced. The small fringe is from a tanned elk a friend shot in Colorado. The stick for which the quiver hangs was gathered from a walk i had with my father two weeks ago. I tryed my hand at some bead work, Beads from another friend. Let me tell you, people who bead are underpaid. I installed some feathers gave to me from another friend and found on a walk. I left ties here and there and will be adding things as i find them. The strap is from another great brother of mine, Bowmac. It is handspun and hand woven and fits the quiver nicely. Check out his work. Quiver is very lite and the only kind i use....

You will be travelling with many friends as you walk the game trails! I bought some straps from Bowmac as well, they are of the finest quality.
May you always find one more arrow in your quiver.

I ain't never seen red elk hide before, cool. While I'm glued to bowquivers for ducking through dense elk woods (and because it's tough wearing both a back quiver and an absolutely necessary 35-pound daypack for elk hunting), I admire your design, which encloses all but the fletchings, so as to minimize sticking-out-arrow hangups when weaseling through brush and trees. I wish I had that much time on my hands, to be so creative as you. dave

Great looking quiver you made there Mr. Vic! Love the built in mojo it carries and that you left room to add more. I hope you fill all your tags while carrying it this year.
