Thank you Nate ~ Sunset Hill
« on: October 19, 2012, 01:58:00 PM »
I got my package from Nate(Sunset Hill) this morning along with this note.

Mudd......."The reason I wanted to build you this quiver ~ Howard Hill's quiver during the 1930's& 1940's was exactly like this one.

You can see the quiver in action in the movie "robin Hood" w/Errol Flynn. The very 1st shot in the archery tournament shows the quiver on Hill's back as Captain of the archers.

In that movie he was not only wearing quiver but is wearing a hat like the ones you make for "Mudd's Merry Men", that reminded me of just how much you reminded me of Hill as "Captain" of the archers.

You are the Honorary "Captain" of us Tradgang archers, so you deserve this "Captain" model quiver.

This is model #1 ~ very special for a special person.

God bless, Nate"
