My Spot This Evening*UPDATED*
« on: October 20, 2012, 08:43:00 PM »

Trying to get a crack at one of the good bucks near my house. Playing the wind, picking a new spot everytime out. This Silent Stalker Green worked pretty good, a couple of trespassers walked by at about 25 yards and never saw me. No deer though...

I think they were just innocently over on our side of the fence line. A man and woman, not hunting. So I let them live.   :biglaugh:

I would never do it, but I was fantasizing about shooting an arrow into the tree ahead of them...

Looks really good!  Love that camo...no camo/camo.  I hope to get some for Christmas.  I've been dropping some not so subtle hints around here.

I sat in a mature pine tree tonight on "Bloody Ridge". Saw one small buck chasing a doe...

...and to my right. Even the neighbors call this place "Bloody Ridge". My son and I have killed 16 deer from this spot. Nothing to shoot tonight though.

Ha! I bet "Band-Aid" ridge has a story to tell!My Uncle Jack named Bloody Ridge. He used to say "By mid October I quit going back there! Roger has gut piles and blood all over that damned place, can't walk it's so slippery"

I miss the old curmudgen.
