My favorite (with my 29.5" draw length) is the 56" Shrew Classic Hunter for a longbow and the 56" Shrew Lil' Favorite for a recurve. With your 27" draw, you could easily shoot 52" or 54" Shrews. I have four or five 54" Shrews that will easily accommodate my longer draw length. I also really like my 56" Big Jim Thunderchild, and you would be well off shooting a 54". Although I haven't shot a Hoots, after visiting with Lee Hoots and talking with the guys who have shot the Hoots bows, I am confident they are outstanding little bows. I also have a Morrison Mini-14 phenolic ILF riser with C limbs that makes a 56" bow that is pretty maxed out at my 29.5" draw, but shoots great.
At least for me, my 50" Black Mountain Sheepeater bow has been a disappointment, but before I say anything that would not be complimentary about the Sheepeater bow line, I would like to shoot some besides the one I bought. I like the idea of the Sheepeater with its static limbs, its very short overall length, and its ability to accommodate a long draw length, but in my hands, it just doesn't work all that well.
