Tuesday morning wake up
« on: August 14, 2007, 09:20:00 AM »
I woke up to a few sites this morning.  One was this little guy taking a break in the woods behind the house.

He's just starting to lose his summer coat.  I was surprised to see him by himself - he still stays pretty close to mama and her two fawns from this year.

The second site was this little guy taking a break

Evan Hunter is one week old today!   :)    Came into the world 8lb 2oz and 20.5" long.  OK, so the second pic isn't completely hunting related, but he will be my favorite hunting buddy in a few years!   :D

Jeremy I remember when my son was that new. He'll be taking his archery hunting safety test this year.
Oh nice looking buck too. Are you located near Montville / New London area? I have family in that area and we'll be up there in a couple weeks. I've seen sone real nice deer up there but I don't have a place to hunt...yet.

Evan is just getting cuter everyday Jeremy. With a middle name like Hunter, he has to be Trad related.    :)

I was waiting for a good oportunity to sneak Evan into PowWow and finally had a decent pic of the 'yard deer' to put up  ;)
I tried getting some pics of two sets of twins playing together while the mothers ate some early apples and turkeys looked on a few days ago, but those didn't turn out so well.  It is nice living out in the sticks (by CT standards anyway).

Nice pics Jeremy. The second is very trad related. We need little ones to pass the tradition on to. Besides, if that isn't a picture of peace and tranquility, I don't know what is!!  :wavey:    :campfire:

Congrats again Jeremy! What a cute little dude.
I can still remember when my boy was that little. Now he is starting college in two weeks, is 6'2" tall and filling out to be a bigger man than I am.
LOL  Treasure every moment my friend, they go by so quickly.
I reckon so
