Missouri truman lake area new guy
« on: October 27, 2012, 05:07:00 AM »
Just wondering if anyone on tradgang lived near the area that would be willing to assist me with some questions/knowledge as I look to become involved in traditional archery?
From helping me find my first recurve, products, form, etc.
I've been only a wheelie guy to date and looking to make the switch.
Thanks

I'm up on the north edge of Kansas City so I'm not overly close either but if you have any questions, feel free to give me a holler.
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Hi Randy!
I live near Truman Lake... Windsor Crossing area.  I would be glad to help once the rut is over.  I'll be in the woods every free minute for the next few weeks though.
There are several of us in the area.  We have a group of seven folks who shoot together at 3D shoots during the off season.   We have a lot of fun and it tunes us up for hunting!  I'll send a pm with contact info.

There a more than a few fine folks in your area.

I've been blessed to meet a couple of them in person.

Ron being one and Richard Dickey the other, both are class acts and all around good people.

Welcome to the campfire, enjoy your journey and keep us posted.

God bless,Mudd
