Bear T/D Question
« on: October 28, 2012, 06:32:00 PM »
Will #1 limbs on a B riser handle a 29.5" draw length? I'm thinking of adding a new set a limbs but remember how a 60" Bighorn pinched my fingers several years ago.

I would say yes.  I have a set of #1's on an A handle and I draw 29" with no problems.

Yes they will handle it fine.
#2 limbs will make 62" bow and more comfortable shooting and #3 limbs a 64" bow.

I wish Bear still made #2s      :(

I have #3s on it now but would like to go a little shorter.

Marc, there were tons made.
#2 limbs are always for sale either here or ****.
If it's the fast flight string feature of the new limbs that concerns you, dont worry about that.
It's insignificant IMHO.
If I had a set of them here, I would ship them to you to try out. You will appreciate a 62" bow with your draw.

Phillip,
Back in the 80s I bought a B Mag handle with a set of #2s for only $40! I traded the bow about 15 years and would kill to have those #2s back!

I draw 30" and the #1 limbs handle that draw length just fine. I have a set of static tip RER #2's that are real shooters.
