I think Lone Wolf and Chippewa Wedge Lock stands are head and shoulders above the crowd.  Either is a good choice. as above,  boot choices can greatly affect noise made on any stand.

For a light, portable and quiet stand that wont break your bank account the Gorrilla Scout alumium hang on is an excellant value.

Lone wolfs are great I own a few and their climber.  This year I purchased the new Muddy "Bloodsport" with the rope system and it is AWESOME.  It is one of my favorite stands now to take in and out.  Quick easy 2 minute setup with the new rope system and very quiet.

Are you bringing that bloodsport to the hunt next week? I've been wanting to check one out. I have the muddy pro hunter and muddy sticks and love this setup, easy to put up and take down. I got rid of the ratchet strap and converted it to a gorilla strap so it's quieter to setup!
