TJ, you rule! Can I come stay with you for awhile?

All kidding aside, I LOVE broken antlers on a good buck. I actually prefer to have antler issues in a nice mount,(not that I get to decide or anything!), I like that it shows real life struggle.
I too would have let him finish first though!
This gives me an idea for another post!

Interesting statement RedShaft. This tree wasn't rubbed three days ago and when this dance is over these deer will not stay here, they never stay in here. Imagine a hunter walking through and finding this fresh rub and thinking here is a great place to set up a spot to hunt. The deer long gone and the hunter just killing some time. [/b]
Exactly! very interesting indeed thanks for sharing that TJ!!

Great pictures.  I kept running through the thread hoping you had more to post!  Maybe a bigger buck will show up and make this even more interesting!

Todd, I looked out yesterday late and no sign of them. Also peeked out this morning with no sign. Maybe they have completed the dance.

I almost added a big buck to the front of my car on the way home from hunting last night. It was a real pig of a deer. I thought I was in Canada for a second. Easily over 300 pounds on the hoof and on a mission! Had his nose to the ground the whole time. He didn't even acknowledge I was there.
