Might want to check what version of IE you are using. I know the newer versions have been giving us all kinds of grief at work.  Can't open PDF files, can't download certain stuff from some web sites...etc.
At home I have ditched IE all together and went with Google Chrome or Firefox. Pretty much have been with Chrome exclusively for months.  Seems to be faster and less problems. I'd suggest giving it a try and seeing if it makes a difference.

I ranted a bit about this during my elk hunt story.  I switched to the beta version and it kept locking up.  (Or saving and saying it was resized, only to find out it wasn't.  ) Nobody chimed in ,so I figured it was just me.  I use a Mac so its probably not just an ie thing.

I don't know whether the free version of Photo bucket, over the pro version makes a difference. i have the pro version with unlimited storage and no advertizement crap, and i haven't had any issues.

up loading multiple images at the same time i had problems with if the file sizes were too large. Resizing before you upload is a lot faster. if you want to keep high resolution photos for other applications that's cool. start a photo bucket file and save copies using 640 width....

I've got files i mark "Web ready".

a lot of these little phone cameras and other digital cameras shoot very high resolution photos. if you are uploading 4000 pixel photos to the bucket before sizing them... THAT is why it's so slow.... do your editing first and it makes things go smoother.

you are always going to get your best photos shooting in very high resolution,. then cropping the photo down before saving it.

i just did a test and uploaded 27 photos in one minute 20 seconds and here's one of them.

Kirk, good advice. I've had no problems at all with PhotoBucket other than it being a bit slow. I Think I'll do as you suggest and start a web folder with the same sub-folders as my others and resize everything that goes in the web folder before uploading.

I had the devil's own time a few months back...

I have an email folder with their name on it with all the exchanges between their tech support and I.

What I foudn, fwiw, is that my problem was they upgraded a bunch of stuff on their site...and some bugs came to light with MS-IE... they urged me to upgrade to another higher version, but on another site, same-same with IE9 and my IE8.

Switched to Firefox browser and use it just for accessing PB and ALL...I mean ALL my headaches went away! I had a bunch, too... including they told me if I cropped and replace original, even though it showed "cropped" in my album, when I'd post, it would post the uncropped version! They said it took 24 hrs for the edited pic to get stored for posting!

Firefox fixed that! I'd have right side ads all over the right side of my albums so I couldn' use those pics or see them... etc ad naseum.
