Well said, Mudd.  My service was by choice and my life was for the guys around me, and it was what I wanted to do.  Luckily most of the Vets I know feel that way too. This nation was blessed by those who shouldered the pack and went into the unknown and often the known dangers willingly.  Bless em all.

Me and South Cox was waiting to get on a plane coming back from Colorado a year ago or so and they started handing out small flags i was wondering what was going on and then some of our troops came walking up the ramp they just got back from Iraq and everybody held up ther flag and started cheering i was so proud to be apart of seeing them smile to be home and see our support for them.. i kept that flag and carring in my pack today to remind me what they do for us and how lucky and safe me and my family are because of our troops .. Thanks for all you do and have done
