« on: November 12, 2012, 06:53:00 PM »
Here in my state, the Orange horde will hit the woods next weekend. How many of you will still be out there trying to get it done the Hard Way,when the guns start blazing? and the woods turn Orange!
I know I will!    :coffee:

The orange have been at it since Oct 15th in the area I hunted yesterday. I heard many gun shots, but I still put a spike, and a doe whitetail down with my longbow.

Rifle hunters don't scare me. You just gotta out hunt them.

First shotgun season starts this coming weekend.  Bow hunters aren't allowed to hunt during the first gun season.  After that though we can be out during the later gun seasons but have to wear orange so we're not shot by accident.

Rifle season is over here, finished on Sunday.  I bow hunted in orange a couple times during the week...unsuccessfully.

It gets very quiet in my neck of the woods after gun season but I can bow hunt until the end of December and opportunity is the most important thing.

Shotgun season ended here. How do the deer react after the season. Do they go back to their normal routines, or are they scattered all over the place.

Let those orange guys drive the deer to you. Find an escape route and get ready for some fast paced action.

in KY the public land is only gun hunted in draws, so during statewide gun I can bowhunt public land, without orange, and pretty much have it to myself, due to everyone out on private land with their blasters. I fel they push some deer to the sanctuary of the public lands too.
its me, against me.
